Nonlinear dynamic and crack behaviors of carbon nanotubes-reinforced composites with various geometries

Abstract This study carried out finite element dynamic analyses of carbon nanotubes/fiber/polymer composites (CNTFPC) with various geometries. In the first application, effects CNTs on nonlinear transient responses doubly curved shells for cutout sizes and curvatures are studied. The numerical results obtained in good agreement those reported by other investigators. For practical focus this is to evaluate performances concrete structures reinforced a rebar-type CNTFPC. new article show interactions between CNT weight ratios crack CNTFPC-reinforced structures. Key observation points discussed brief design guideline given.
